About the Artist
I am a watercolorist who loves to capture the beauty of nature on paper. I currently reside in Lee's Summit, Missouri with my husband, our four year old boy, and our cat and golden retriever. Outside of painting, you can find me at the gym or in my garden with my son!

History
How it began...
I began painting in 2018 after my son was born. I was in school full time to become a physical therapy assistant and was also a full time personal trainer. I needed a creative outlet to help cope with depression and navigating motherhood.

Soon after, my health began to decline. My joints and muscles began to suffer great weaknesses and so I was unable to train many of my clients. As more and more issues arose, it became clear I could not longer physically do the work and the schooling I so desired.

During this difficult time, I delved fully into my art. I painted every single day in 2019, and most days in 2020, especially once the pandemic hit. In 2022, I was officially diagnosed with Ehlders Danlos Syndrome and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, both that explained a lifetime of issues.
I have always had a passion and great love for botanical science and nature and I have now combined the two loves to bring beauty into the world.
